Is this normal? (Vyvanse question)

I started taking Vyvanse for ADHD and BED but have noticed that for about an hour after taking it I feel almost high, I get extremely jittery and chatty, and literally start texting all my friends and family about politics and the shitty things going on in the world. Is that normal? Will that feeling go away after taking it consistently for some time? I stopped because I felt like maybe it wasn’t supposed to do that. Plus my coworker told me I looked all bug eyed and crazy on it so that was a definite concern lol. But it honestly did help with my focus. I could clean my house, play with my children without losing my temper, workout, and eat clean while taking it. Although the come down wasn’t the best but I’m sure that’s normal with any stimulant
