How many soiled diapers did your lo have on day 3?

My baby just turned 3d old 2 hours ago. For the breast feeding moms how many diapers did your lo go through by day 3 ? I feel like I’m changing so little diapers but he’s still in the average area for how many they expect in a day as he gets older.

At first six days of life, it is normal to have as many diapers that the age is. Day 3-> 3 diapers.

If you’re breastfeeding they can go a week without pooping usually. As long as baby is having adequate wet diapers, gaining weight, and not acting constipated you should be fine.

You should see 3+ pee and roughly 3+ poop diapers on day 3. Their little bodies don’t produce too much in the first week. They also have little control of their bowels so poop can happen with any fart. 
Tomorrow you should see 4+ pees and 3+ poops.
