I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I can’t help it. Summer camps are so expensive. I have four children (ages 14, 10, 10, and 2), and just simply can’t afford to send them to camps. I also work full time. My work day ends at 4, so I will be able to take them to the pool at 4 most days…but up until then, they’re just kinda left to chill. They have outdoor toys, and ample space to play. Scooters, water guns, etc….I just…idk. We weren’t entertained as kids during summer…why do I feel so guilty?! All these parents I work with are sending their kids to a different camp every summer, and I just don’t have it like that :( Anyone else? *sigh*
