Husband acting sketchy?

My husband and I just got off of separation. We’ve been doing much better for weeks. Today, he told me last minute he was commuting into the city for work (he does this multiple times a week), but usually it’s Tuesday Thursday. On top of the odd curveball on commuting, he told me he was going out to eat with coworkers and has now been radio silent since 5:30. I want to believe it’s just a work dinner but this is very out of character and annoying. Thoughts?
