Time to give up..?

Hi ladies,
When do you decide enough is enough?
I am heart broken, my body is exhausted and I am mentally drained.
I met the love if my life almost 3 years ago and we have been trying to have our precious baby for 21 months now.
Had a HSG, tried Clomid and letrozol.
I have had acupuncture with herbs fur the last year and nothing but increasing debt and heartache.
We have decided again st IVF as I don’t  feel that I could cope with the pressure.
I am 44 and my partner is 46.
We will keep trying naturally and trying to stay positive but when do you and how do you decide that enough is enough?

I think it's good to have a break and take pressure off yourself and come back to it. I got pregnant naturally at 44.5 had been trying for 3.5 years. I did have a miscarriage but found out my progesterone was very low. I've now corrected my hormone levels and still trying. I turn 46 at the end of June.

I found it all so hard physically and emotionally. My heart was breaking more and more every month I was worried it would never heal. 
So we decided that I would stop try after my 40th birthday.  This was the right choice for me. I was so caught up in the life I wanted I wasn't living the life I had. 
I did fall pregnant 2 months before my 40th but I'm convinced I would of stopped and I would of been happy. Children are not the be all and end all. I know it can be so so hard to see it but there's a happy life to have how ever it works out.

I’m coping with the same decision. I either have to buy donor eggs or call it quits, and I can’t decide. I’m heartbroken. We had to delay family planning till my later 30s, and by then it was too late. I’ve been praying for a miracle, but it probably won’t come. Best wishes for you. I wish I had an answer.

Same! I'm so heart broken I'm 41 husband 48 been trying for 4 years now. I want to just  give up but every month I keep trying. I refuse to go to a fertility doctor. I got pregnant twice with no issues. Baby dust!
