TDAP Reaction

Hey mamas, I had my TDAP vaccine last Thurs. and it was painless and quick. On Fri. I woke up with a sore arm and a dot that looked like a mosquito bite. Throughout the weekend the injection site became bigger, redder, harder, itchy, and hot to the touch. It’s about the size of a plum now.

I wrote to my OB who said to keep an eye on it and that this isn’t an uncommon reaction. It looks like “COVID arm.” I’m using Benadryl topical gel and ice. I think it has “peaked” and is getting better but it was concerning nonetheless!

Curious if anyone else had this happen?! I am pro vax and it’s worth it but wow, it’s uncomfortable.
