Should I fire babysitter or no?

She watches my 2 daughters age 2 and 3. Today my 2 year old had a massive blow out and she noticed at the end of her shift. (Only 3 hours). She then puts the clothes back on my daughter that had shit on it and didn’t mention to tell me until I found poop all over my fucking couch I’m furious to say the least. I txt her a picture of it and say “is their a reason why you didn’t clean this up” she says sorry I tried to clean it up with wet wipes and it didn’t come out and said she forgot to tell me and that next time show her where the stuff is to clean it Uhm wtf? Now I’m just questioning her basic mental state of why would you put clothes back on my daughter then fail to tell me about the couch. It’s pretty basic things. Am I being too harsh? I feel like that shouldn’t be taken lightly and don’t really know what to do givin this the first babysitter I’ve hired. Please let me know what you ladies think I should do I. This situation

How old is she? How long has she been working for you? Does she have prior experience with children? When you hired her did you show her where everything was as far as cleaning products and how to clean the couches? Mistakes happen and while this isn't a great one idk if I would fire her over it especially if this is the first mistake she made. I would definitely lay some ground rules and make sure she's aware she can change the children, go into their rooms, clean as necessary, etc and in worse case she can call or text you with questions. While it may seem simple and forward to you it may not have been for her regardless. And sometimes people forget things even to their best ability.

I've been a babysitter for many years, started young but have never done something like that. I would've texted to ask or at least not put the clothes back on. I don't know about you but I'm usually allowed in the kids room so I would've cleaned it and put other clothes on. It's not okay to put the dirty clothes back on.

Fire immediately and install cameras before hiring someone else is what I would do. Idk why people are asking if it's a teen even it they were there's no excuse for that.

That is so freaking weird? Like why put dirty clothes back on her… at the very least just leave her in a diaper. My sitter would never do this in a million years lol Also if anything out of the ordinary goes on she usually texts me right away, she doesn’t even wait for me to get home.
