What’s your opinion

What does sex do to a relationship? I’ve been seeing this guy and last night things got really steamy and we ended up having sex. It was kind of a stop and go as we both wanted it but I always feel once you sleep with a guy there is some respect lost. So I kind of feel bothered this morning. He never gave me idea that he only wants sex from me. But we’re obviously very attractive to each other and their was a lot of tension. I told him I think we should take a step back and focus on growing our relationship before becoming sexual again. But do you think that sounds stupid considering we’ve already stepped over the boundary.
