Advice please

I’m looking for advice. My fiancé got an invitation for us to go to a graduation party/grandmas birthday party. Our son will be about a month old. He really wants to take our son so everyone can meet him. However I’m iffy about it because of covid, people being sick and obviously everyone will want to hold the baby. I don’t mind people meeting my baby but I am concerned about him being around a bunch of people who we don’t know if they been sick or whatever. Do you think I’m overreacting for not wanting to take my one month old to a gathering that’s so large? I know if I bring this up we will probably have a huge disagreement but my son will only be a month.
