How do you entertain your 5 month old?

I’m running out of ideas on how to entertain my 5 month old..he doesn’t like to really be put down for more than 2 minutes lol. Complete opposite of my first baby. I have the play mat, bunch of teething toys, a bouncy chair, and I basically rotate those! Any ideas please!

My son started getting extremely interested in his xylophone, toy Piano and any other musical instrument at 5 months. He loved rattles and anything that made noise. Also he liked his shape sorter. He doesnt know how to use the shape sorter function but he likes grabbing, holding and chewing the blocks. He also likes when i build a tower with the blocks and and he knocks it down. He also loves banging the blocks together and putting them in and taking them out of the bucket without the top on it. He liked assisted sitting. Id prop him up between my legs and play with him and now at 6 months hes sitting independently. Anything sensory. He loves touching the touch and feel books. Also looking at books with real pictures of animals and babies (not cartoons or drawings). He loves when i read to him as well. Going for walks became more fun for him at 5 months. He was super interested in his surroundings and watching other people. We also tried the baby swing at the park at 5 months and he LOVED it. Getting outside, sitting in a kiddy pool and splashing together and playing with water toys.

If I say you don’t need to entertain your baby constantly I do not mean it as a criticism or mean…
I mean you play with them but they can chill in the bouncer chair, on a playmat looking at hanging toys, music
Or just watch you while you cook or do what you gotta do
