Seems like idk to choose furniture

So we bought house it’s not brand new but it was in our budget (compared how houses are expensive this was good deal and how much we gave for down payment-20%).

And now we are renovating within our budget

Husband pullout carpet our friends helped us to put laminate (it’s cheap one and I love it)

Looks better then before

Now we bought recliner sectional and my SIL told me we shouldn’t match with floor because it will look like cave and it’s reminds her of 2000 style

(My husband just chilling on sofa 🤣)

But anywho we have two kids 2.5 years old and 9 months old.Toddler is spilling everywhere when he eats or snacks and I’m okay with it and I know my other baby will do same so I’m not investing so much money into furniture that I will replace anyway in 4-5 years.They are kids and I know they will spill make mess.And because of that we bought darker color so it’s not noticeable to much if they spill something.Of course I will clean it

And now I’m feeling down that my house will not look good 😬🫣

But I know we are looking for something in our budget
