Any chance of a positive?!

Question

I’m roughly 15dpo (not confirmed with ovulation tests) but I got a BFN this morning. However, when I had my first baby I’ve looked back and I didn’t test until 18dpo and remember the line being faint then.
I’ve had cramps for a week which was what happened when I was pregnant before.
Am I being ridiculous or am I just getting my hopes up?

If you confirmed ovulation it is highly unlikely. By 11dpo your corpus lutem begins to break down and it becomes difficult for successful implantation. It you implanted by 11dpo you would most likely have at least a faint line on a frer, though perhaps not a less sensitive test. If you didn’t confirm ovulation and just went off the app or lh surge it is possible you actually ovulated later than you though and are not actually 15 dpo meaning there is still a chance. Ppl will say implantation can happen at up to 12 dpo but my doc told me that implantation at 12 dpo and later puts one at a higher risk for a chemical pregnancy. All that to say, yes there is obviously still a chance but it is pretty small if ovulation was confirmed
