Is this unreasonable ?

My family was sick with Covid 9 days ago, we all feel a lot better but I’m still tired because I’ve been looking after my toddler 24/7. He returns to daycare on Tuesday and I can’t wait to get a break. My husband wants to invite friends over for the 4th. I still feel like I’m recovering and asked that we not have anyone over and he’s mad, am I being unreasonable?

I don't think you are. If you can't handle company right now after being sick then your husband should be understanding. We can only handle so much.

It is not unreasonable. Your feelings and reasoning are valid!! If he really wants people over on the 4th, tell him "If you really want people over tomorrow then go ahead but do not count on me please as I am not 100% and do not want to commit to entertaining people at this time..." .. I don't know how he would respond to that BUT at least you'd be honest in letting him know not to count on you because you are not 100% and not in the mood. I've had covid twice so I know exactly how u feel.. it took me over 2 months to feel normal again.. ur husband should be more concerned about ur health.

Not at all. You all are recovering from covid so it's kind of ridiculous to be having a get together in my opinion.
