Brown blood?

Has anyone ever had brown discharge it looks like old blood I’m going in for a ultrasound tomorrow I’m just kinda scared I’m 16 weeks

I had brown spotting for a week, it started the same day I had an ultrasound. Everything online said not to worry because brown means old blood and because I had just seen the baby on the ultrasound sound I didn’t worry too much. Biggest regret not getting back into the doc and thinking it’s fine because it’s “old blood”. I ended up losing the baby at 11 weeks. Not trying to scare you just giving my experience. Brown blood could be old but I hate that everyone chalks it up to that and says it’s fine because it’s not always the case. I’d call the doc asap and see what they say. Good luck girly

Likely old blood as your uterus is stretching. As long as there isn’t a lot of it and it isn’t bright red it is probably fine. (This is what I was told every time I was like ‘eek! Blood!’)
