he can’t have sex

we can’t finish because we use condoms and he gets these cracks in his penis from friction.. condoms dry me out and we don’t want to risk me getting pregnant.. he talked to his doctor and his doctor told him to use lube. he put some inside and out to help with the friction and the lube dried right up and we couldn’t finish because his penis started hurting from the friction 😩 anyone else’s partner like this? the lube was water based i’m not sure what’s happening here!
