18 weeks & cramping/contractions?

So I have been experiencing round ligament pain for a couple weeks, but this feels different. It's almost 11am and ever since 8am when I woke up (actually probably before because I was having dreams that I was cramping) I have been having consistent cramps only on my right side. I'm talking every couple of minutes, if not every minute. It feels like period cramps but not AS intense as I have *horrible* period cramps. It's painful but borderline dull. I'm not bleeding, and I did send a message to my doctor so I'm just waiting to hear back from her.

Anyone else experience something like this?

Update:: it's now almost 12pm and they still haven't gone away 😰
