Do you have a baby shower for your 2nd baby?

Hello. This is my 2nd pregnancy, the first one i had a baby shower, my partner has 3 kids and never had a baby shower/ baby celebration with any of his kids. Is it weird to have a baby shower/ celebration. Or do we just do a meet the baby party type thing?

I think if the baby is a deferent gender than your first you do a baby shower but I have also seen people do a baby sprinkle and just get like diapers or smaller things not sure though

My son is 6 and we have nothing baby anymore…

We had a big baby shower for our twin boys and then had a much smaller “baby sprinkle” for our little girl.  I might end up having another small baby shower this pregnancy because we have literally no baby items anymore.  Our twins are 6 and our little girl is 4.  We need everything all over again, and this is definitely our last so I just want to celebrate him/her! 💙💖🤷🏻‍♀️

Where I’m from it’s fairly common to have a baby shower for your second, or at least a sprinkle!

I think its totally up to you what do you feel better about. with my son I had a small baby shower with juat a few close friends then once he was born I invited people over to meet him but spaced it out with a new born and asgter everything you've gone through with labour you may be too tired to hold a meet the baby party and entertain. but what ever you decide as long as your happy with it, it will be perfect :o) stick to what your heart tells you x
