So i posted this in another group. I am so confused. My husband and I have been ttc for a while. We did stop really trying for a couple months because I didn't want to be 9 months pregnant at my friend's wedding. Starting in May, my cycles went haywire! My cycles went from consistently 28-30 days to 39-40 days. They also got super short, usually 1.5 days of heavy bleeding with some spotting. I took many pregnancy tests in May and June but didn't actually track ovulation. Now this month, we are actually going to try again so I took a few ovulation tests the last few days starting at cd 6. To my surprise the tests were already quite dark. Day 9 I got a positive test and today, day 10, I got a super dark peak. That surprised me so much considering my cycles have been so long. For the heck of it, I used that same cup of urine to dip a pregnancy test and even more to my surprise was it was positive. I don't even understand how this when my last period ended less than a week ago and was much heavier than implantation bleeding. I'm going to take more tests then call the doctor but I was just curious if anybody could make any sense of this. Sorry for the rambling. Thank you!
