Potty training

Hi guys! I haven’t been on in forever but I’m needing some potty training advice for Everett. He knows how to go on the potty (pee & poop) and likes to do it on his own terms but not when I ask him to.. When he goes in his pull up and I tell him he should try the potty next time he tells me he likes to go in his diaper 🥴 but just over the past couple days the second he pees in his pull up he wants to be changed. I was thinking of trying the 3 day method where he goes around naked but also a little scared to try that 😳😂 just wanted to see what has worked for others!!
