Pumping // feeling hopeful
So I'm 33 weeks +3 days and I know pumping isn't recommended because it can cause contractions that induce labor, but I got a new pump a day ago and I wanted to try it out to see if it fit comfortably and stuff and I tried it on my right boob, and I took the breast shield off after pumping for like a minute and on the nipple there was clear liquid (I'm assuming colostrum)
It may not mean anything in terms of future attempts to breast feed my 2nd baby but it made me feel hopeful because I failed at breastfeeding the first time with my firstborn.
Hopefully this is a good sign 😅
