Tooth sensativity
One of my back top molars has been sensative for years. My feeling is to say f it and pull the tooth. Am i crazy for not seeing the point in saving the tooth? Pulling it and maybe getting 1 implant? I have otherwise very nice healthy teeth.
Its not in an odvious place. But its not bad enough that any dentists ive seen isnt willing to take that step yet. Tbh id rsther pull it then have a root canel or baby it for the rest of my life.
I have a hard time eating anything colder then room temp even oranges and even biting into anyting sweet directly in that side of my mouth will aggrivate it.
Ive only gone to the dentist for bi annual routine visits and have had x rays done. The x rays show that the enamel has worn down due to some jaw clenching and minor built up of plaque. I guess there is a nerve that is more exposed then it should be. In the past year or so i've been vigilant about flossing but neglecting to floss for more then 2 days will cause a huge flare up. Otherwise im living with mild to moderate but constant tooth pain. I use the most reccommended tooth sensativity toothpaste and mouthwash.
The reccommendd treatment is to avoid things that bother it but im tired of doing that and some temporsry tooth pain relief.
