Is it okay that I still avoid getting water in my 3 months old ears?

at first I avoided getting water in her ears cause she was a newborn well she will be 4 months in a few days and I realized that I still have never had water run down her ears is this bad?? is it safe if water goes inside ears? is it okay to continue not to let water get in her ears?

Yes its fine you avoid it and yes also it’s safe if water gets in her ears.  there’s nothing wrong with avoiding it. I mean who really wants water in their ears? But the eardrum separates the middle ear and ear canal so water can’t actually reach that part of the ear. 
Basically it’s more comfortable for your little one to avoid it, but you don’t have to for any safety reasons.
