Please give me advice!! 😭

My bf’s mother is a meth addict. She went through treatment and claims to be clean for about 10 months. Sometimes I think she is, but others she is still extremely volatile and crazy…

My boyfriend wants to go out of town just the two of us this weekend. I don’t have a sitter for our 2 year old daughter and he suggested having his mom come watch her for two days. I of course have my hesitations because 1) I’m not sure she’s clean and 2) she’s never kept her overnight or been with her that long. He also has two other kids who have always been exposed to her even during her active addiction so I know his judgement is biased.

He’s picking a fight with me because I said I need to give her a drug test or have some sort of reassurance and PROOF that she’s clean otherwise our daughter just needs to come with us. He told me that our daughter now isn’t allowed to be around my family (just to be petty and make it “even”). His mom has admitted to lying about her sobriety in the past and I’m just not willing to risk my daughter’s safety which I don’t know why he doesn’t get that.

He’s threatening to break up if I don’t let his mom watch her…

What do I do about this?
