Possible ectopic? Please help 😢

So I’m 4w3d pregnant and earlier today I got super lightheaded and dizzy. While in the bathroom I fell over and landed on my right side. I started having some cramping but no bleeding. Called my OB’s office and the on call doctor said there wasn’t anything they could do in L&D because I’m so early, but to go to the ER if I start bleeding heavily or the pain gets really bad. 
Since that time I’ve had persistent pain in my lower front left pelvic area and I’m starting to get scared that this is an ectopic. Still no bleeding though. 
Does anyone know if it’s possible to detect an ectopic this early? I’m going to call my OB’s office again tomorrow, but until then I’m just sitting here worried.

My cousin had an ectopic and she had stabbing pain where she was hunched over and was vomiting non stop. She then started bleeding the following day. She was 5 weeks and her appointment was a few days after. 
To me personally, I would go stir crazy wondering if it’s ectopic. I think it’s maybe just cause you fell. Hopefully it’s nothing but just keep an eye on how you feel

Honestly at that stage cramping is very normal. It can be one sided or alternate sides. I wouldn't be too concerned about the fall either as baby is the size of a mustard seed and very protected. Concerning bleeds is red blood that gets heavier and is accompanied by cramps. Also ER's are not trained in pregnancy and have no idea what they're talking about. Just monitor for any bleeding.

I had an ectopic rupture. My signs were bleeding that would go from light to dark and pink to brown but change daily. Cramping on one side but it wasn’t terrible pain, less than period cramps. My hcg was rising but not doubling. When it ruptured is when I felt IMMENSE pain but they just told me I was miscarrying (three doctors on three occasions said this). I had two ultrasounds done where “pregnancy could not be located”. Only discovered the rupture when I nearly died… at work… from internal bleeding. Basically, get an ultrasound if you can and if they cannot locate a pregnancy, make them watch your hcg. They can be tricky.
