Infant refusing formula
I’m at a loss right now. For the past month my 8 month old daughter slowly has been refusing formula. For the past two weeks she hardly is drinking her formula. She is on Prevacid for reflux and takes it first thing in the morning. Her morning bottle after the medicine she hardly drinks. If we are lucky 1oz. Lately, she’s just been refusing the bottle with formula. She’s always been a difficult eater. We would have to rock her, bounce her, distract her to drink. And that would work for the most part. My husband would force feed her I call it because she would always cry when he gave her the bottle. We just wanted her to drink to get her nutrients. Looking up articles now I feel she may have a feeding aversion to the bottle. She’ll eat solids fine for the most part. Her weight is plateauing. She’s always been on the small side. She’s 15lbs 10oz. Since she’s been refusing formula she’s slowly losing weight which is terrifying. We are lucky if she drinks 5-8 Oz a day now 😞😞 Our Dr referred us to a pediatric GI dr.
Has anyones babies done this before? Has anyones little ones had a feeding aversion? Idk what to do anymore. It’s been stressing me out so bad because I dont want anything to be wrong with her
