Relationship prob..

Me n this dude been dating for a while now.. But I just feel like the communication is horrible between us like we’re a long distant relationship but I see him like once a month so it’s not bad but when we’re on the phone I feel like he just calls me to fall asleep and it’s like ik he can call me earlier especially the days he doesn’t have work 😭 it’s getting to the point where I’m questioning if I’m boring or something but I do try to ask him questions like how’s his day n stuff but he’s so dry or he won’t even answer my question and it’s making it really hard for me to even try anymore if he’s not but I really like him a lot and I really don’t wanna leave him like he’ll tell me that he loves me n he misses me but I just wish we communicated more and idk how to explain it to him
