Taking Aspirin safe?

Is taking aspirin during 5 weeks safe? i’ve had two losses already and today i went to confirm and this lady told me to take aspirin. I read about it and there’s mixed feeling about it. Many say it can help with miscarrying and other say it can cause it?

Second and this pregnancy I was told to take baby aspirin or low dose aspirin because I’m higher risk for preeclampsia due to age and weight. Took it with zero issues with my second. Haven’t started it yet this pregnancy but will soon. I’ve never had high blood pressure - knock on wood - but that’s what they want me to take it for, to prevent that.

I did IVF and was told to take low dose aspirin until I was 12 weeks every time I did a transfer. It does NOT cause miscarriages. It helps with bloodflow.

When I get pregnant again I’ll have to take aspirin due to high blood pressure during my pregnancy. Speak with your ob first.

Baby aspirin so 81mg daily is good, it kept me from reoccurring miscarriage due to thicker blood & a clotting disorder I didn’t know I had

Yes many pregnant women are prescribed baby aspirin (so low dose). Just speak to your doctor. I am high risk and have been on a low dose aspirin from the start with all of my pregnancy’s.

As long as it’s baby aspirin (low dose) I have to take it for high bp, but I was advised not to start it until after 12 weeks.  It I have also read that some take it to help prevent miscarriage before 12 weeks. So I don’t know. I would ask your Dr what to do

I took one baby aspirin during ttc and throughout my pregnancy thus far. I’m 18 weeks. My dr even told me to up it to two, but that’s because of my previous history with hypertension
