Still wearing masks while in labor?

Hey Ladies,
For those that still have to wear a mask in the hospital, but you know if it’s still request to wear a mask while in labor? 
I have to wear masks to every appt, so just curious.

In the hospital if you get a Covid test & it’s negative you don’t have to wear the mask I didn’t .

I gave birth last year at the height of masking... only had to wear them in the hallways. We were maskless for labour and postpartum.

I still have to wear a mask at my appointments but once we get to our room when labor is happening I don’t have to wear one .

My OB office doesn’t require a mask during visits. The hospital only requires it when you’re in the main hallways around other patients but not in your delivery room and certainly not during delivery.

So for my hospital you have to wear a mask in the hospital but you don't have to wear it in labor or when you're in your own room.

I would ask your hospital! The one I gave birth at is still requiring even now.

I didn’t have to but I wore it during birth? Don’t know why. I didn’t wear it in recovery room tho 😂
