Baby Shower Stress*** MIL

Can someone give me some advice?? My mom wanted to throw me a surprise baby shower and was unable to go through with it due to my MIL. She didn’t know if I would want to invite her or not and MIL has also blocked my mom on all accounts so she couldn’t contact even if she wanted too. So that made me sad that I can’t have a surprise… anyways my mom wants to throw a Brunch baby shower. A small intimate little thing at her house to celebrate our baby.

I have had a VERY stressful pregnancy with life, and feeling the worst I have felt with any of my pregnancies, high anxiety and some depression on top. My MIL have been on bad terms for 7 years. I have recently tried to make amends with her to make my husband happy. I’ve seen her a couple times since then and she has been nice to me for the most part. But my number is blocked on her phone so she hasn’t been answering any texts I’ve tried to send her to keep our relationship ok. Moving forward to now, I have to decide if I want to invite her to this small baby shower at my moms house (she doesn’t like my mom for whatever reason). I don’t want her there making me feel stressed since we haven’t been on good terms for so long, but my husband doesn’t want me to make anything worse after things are slowly starting to improve. So I either make my husband happy, or keep myself comfortable at risk of making things worse between us two.

This is my third child, my first she was there for baby shower and gender reveal and wasn’t happy being there. My second she was not there for anything and hadn’t met my son for the first year and a half of his life. (She was invited to all, again to make my husband happy) so this is my third and final baby. I’m really not sure what to do….
