Hospital Stay

I’m 27 weeks FTM and have been saying I want a 2-3 day hospital stay because I want the on call help from nurses/lactation specialists for as long as I can get it.

My husband said that in front of his mom last night and she literally went off on a tangent about how if you stay longer than 24-36 hours that means something is wrong with your baby so it would be stupid for me to go into labor wanting a long hospital stay. And y’all this is really why I don’t like mother in laws like that, because they are always putting their advice where it isn’t wanted.

Has anyone ever had a longer (2-3 day) hospital stay and baby was perfectly fine?
