5 weeks pregnant spotting brown discharge for 3 days

I started getting brown discharge 3 days ago. It’s usually if I wipe and sometimes it doesn’t show on toilet paper. Whenever I have a bowel movement it is a little more and have a little bit of dark red in it and then goes back to brown.

I went to the ER yesterday and they did an internal ultrasound and said they can’t tell if there is a sac or not and my hcg levels are 1700 and considered low. The Dr said I could either be having a missed miscarriage, going to miscarriage, have a healthy pregnancy, or ectopic pregnancy. They don’t know why I’m spotting and considered it a threatened pregnancy and to come back in 48 hrs to see if my level double

Anyone else experience this and have any positive outcomes? I am trying not to think about it but it’s hard 😔
