Some Updates. Any advice?

Hello, and good morning!

I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday and found out my cholesterol levels are too high. I’m currently TTC, and want my health at a good standing, so I can ensure a safe and healthy pregnancy in the future.

I’m unsure whether or not cholesterol even has a direct impact on fertility. However, during my journey, since it’s only the beginning for me and I’ve just started. I’m kind of just ‘prepping’ myself. So far i’ve been getting blood work done, and i’ve gotten a pap smear done. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next week to make sure I have no fibroids on my uterus or anything of the sort. My partner got his sperm count looked at, which we also found out was low. And he also suffers from high cholesterol. So our chances of conception are probably very low at this moment.

What would some of you recommend that I do to lower my cholesterol levels? What kinds of foods or exercise should I try?

Also, if anyone has anything they’d like to advise or recommend for men with a low sperm count, that’d be appreciated. Any lifestyle changes?
