I’m just looking on some information on what all goes on during your first ultrasound I was told It could take up to two hours possibly, what all labs do they due etc…

At 9 or 11 weeks along, they should be able to do the ultrasound externally. This means you can stay dressed and they'll just have you lay on your back and lift your shirt up to have access to your stomach. Baby will be pretty low (about the height of your hip bones), so wear pants that can be slightly pushed down. They will put a clear, warm jelly on your stomach and then run a handheld device across your stomach to search for baby. They push the device down on your stomach to get better images so you might feel pressure, but it should never be painful. Most places allow you to see the screen of exactly what the tech is seeing, so you'll get to watch as they take pictures and measure the uterus and baby. Feel free to ask what is being pictured, its sometimes hard to tell and most techs enjoy walking you through the process and showing you all of the anatomy. Mine only took ~30 min. At the end, you'll be able to take some of the pictures home with you (via a cd, USB drive, or printed pictures. It depends on the location for what they will give) and within a day or two, a radiologist will write up a report of the findings. Good luck!

Your ultrasound could be vaginal or abdominal at 9 - 11 weeks. Some clinics won't do abdominal US in the first trimester and others will do them after 10 weeks. Depends on the clinic. You will also get a bunch of blood drawn and they'll ask a lot of questions about your history. It shouldn't take 2 hours unless you include the waiting period for labs and to be seen by doc.

Usually first ultrasound is a vaginal ultrasound so I would be mentally prepared for that, you may be far enough along for an abdominal one. The ultrasound itself will take less than a half hour, but they will take measurements of your uterus and baby to confirm due date. If you are also meeting for a full appointment you will likely review the ultrasound and go over your medical history and the history of the babies dad with a nurse or doctor. They will also likely give you a lot of information about prenatal care. This can take about an hour depending on the clinic.
