Screening test

Hi all, my insurance coverage starts only from September 1 as I recently relocated. I went yesterday to ER for a check up as I had a brown discharge and they gave me rh shot as this is my second baby n am rh negative. Baby s doing well at 11wks.

Now, for down syndrome combined screening and Nipt at 11 to 14 weeks my insurance worn start till Sept 1. When it starts i will be 15 weeks.

Should I pay hundreds of dollars to get the screening without insurance? I dunno how much it costs?!?! ER costed $650 already.

Or I can wait it out to get it done in 15 weeks. Do they still do that in 15weeks? Am 35 yrs old and need advice on how to handle this situation.
