Should we have a fourth?
I just had my third baby (a girl after two boys) earlier this year. My husband and I have always talked about having 3 kids. So when we found out my third was a girl, I felt like our family was complete. I have always had in the back of my mind that I know my husband wants to be done so 3 is it.
My husband scheduled his vasectomy. We had a discussion about it and I told him I was feeling hesitant so he cancelled the appointment. He said he’s open to a fourth. This was mind blowing for me because I thought he would be done at 3!
We are both kind of on the same page now. We wouldn’t want to start trying until there would be a 2 yr age gap for the youngest two.
So here’s my question. For those who have 4 or more… did it seem like a huge jump in kids? 2-3 was by FAR the hardest adjustment for me. We both work, so is it financially smart for us? But if it’s meant to be, we will figure out that financial part right? Idk what to think. I’d love some advice and wisdom for those who have 4+ kids. I feel like now I would always regret looking back if we didn’t have a 4th. But maybe we are complete. 🥹🥹
