Feeding from one breast at a time question?

Alice

I’m transitioning from exclusively pumping as baby was in NICU. I’m having great success so far thank god! My problem is I def have a oversupply. It’s the hardest thing to get around. Lately Iv been feeding baby from one breast per feeding session and it’s definitely not empty after feeding but not to uncomfortable. However the other breast will be full and I’ll need to pump. This is time consuming. Should I go to switching baby mid feed so both breasts are somewhat drained? When I was doing that though I had to pump both breasts post feeding. Anyone have any experience with this? I have mixed feelings with lowering my supply but it’s a pain in the ass and my freezer is full. 🤣
