Mamas of autistic children that are mainstreamed -help!

So I just found out the school my daughter is enrolled in has an autism class but it’s for all grades(k-6) and most of the kids in the class have an aide. My daughter was supposed to go in that class because I thought it was only a kindergarten class. I do not feel comfortable with her being with much older special needs children. Her other option is to main stream in a regular class with an aid. I am wanting to do the aide with mainstream but I am nervous as hell. Idk who these aids are and she will require 2 different ones in a 6 hour period. Has anyone been through this? There are no other options in this district for autistic children since we live in a tiny underfunded city. Also I was told the mainstream class she will be placed in doesn’t have a teacher as of yet and school starts in 2 weeks. I’m afraid they’ll get just any under qualified person to fill. Anyone else gone/going through something similar?
