Trip tips? Recommendations?

Getting ready for this weekend we will be driving 16 hrs with our 8 month old. I’m not going to lie, I’m afraid! I think I have everything we will need, but any tips, recommendations? We will be making plenty of stops to let baby stretch. How often should we stop every 2 hrs? Every 3? Idk we are first time parents and first road trip.

I think you shouldn't really go more than three hours at a time in the car seat.. I did a 2.5 hour journey in one stretch and that felt like pushing it... Even though she slept like 1.5 hours of that she was starting to get really cranky at the end and I started to worry about her circulation and stuff.. like they can't just switch positions like we can after a while.. :) I think you'll need to stop for the night somewhere?

I’d stop maybe every 4 hours give or take. Babe may sleep a lot more being in the vehicle
