When kids fight!

Question

Asked my 3 yr old where she got her scratches on her hand. She tells me a boy- P- did it. From daycare.
How do you handle this situation? Do you talk to the teacher? The parent? What do you say to your child?

The teacher needs to be spoken to first because they should be aware of what’s happening and if anyone had seen this THEY MUST write out an incident report. The teachers need to handle it and also be the ones to speak to the parents. If you bring it to their attention they will most likely keep them away from eavh other and/or just monitor closely

Talk to the teacher to make sure they know something’s going on between them. And I always tell my kids that their friends are learning how to be mad without hitting/pinching/whatever, just like they had to learn that too. My 3 year old was recently pinched by a new classmate who’s a bit younger, unfortunately mine pinched back, but I also told him it’s best to tell his teacher and play away from his friend if they’re hurting him.
