Supply issues due to sickness
I have been ill for almost a week now. My baby became unwell starting Thursday. He isn’t nursing well as a result. (I am having to pump to trigger a letdown then latch him, since he can’t latch for long I’m guessing due to congestion or a sore throat.)
I am trying to stay hydrated and eat, but it is so hard. I have no appetite. I’m trying to force food and liquids down as much as I can but it is making me physically ill doing so.
Baby isn’t drinking much at the breast. I’m having to top him off with previously expressed milk (from my freezer stash). I’m pumping after baby latches, but I don’t get much at all, maybe an oz.
What else can I do to help rebound my supply? I’m eating oatmeal once a day, drinking body armor, power pumping, etc.
