When it’s your little ones birthday during school time. What do you guys take to their classroom? My daughter this year won’t be having no party because she wanted us to take her somewhere else instead. She will be 6 and I still want to take her & the classroom something. I was thinking cupcakes 🧁. Any more ideas are welcome I am on a budget 😅

Please ask your child’s teacher what would be appropriate. Don’t just show up with stuff. I’m a classroom teacher, my parents are asked not to send anything edible at all. If they send a trinket or goodie, we hand those out as they leave for the day.

Ask the teacher as different schools have different rules. My nephews teacher always said that cupcakes almost never got eaten but donuts were super popular. But some schools don’t allow anything edible at all.

For my son I usually just take cupcakes and either capri sun or kool-aid packs. And if I have the extra money I’ll make little gift bags for his whole class, including the teacher.

My mom always made cupcakes for me to take to school on my birthday, but with dietary restrictions, I’d ask the teacher about the policy and if you have to be mindful or if they even allow it at all.
