For people who were teens+ in the 90s

I’m just… in a wormhole of big events from the 90s/early 2000 that changed America forever.

Oklahoma City bombing/columbine/9/11

I was born in 96 so i wasn’t even alive yet when the OKC bombing happened

Ironically my mother was in a church parking lot not far from it, if you watch the news coverage they talk about a church that’s windows had been blown out, and that’s where she was.

I don’t remember columbine at all. I had to be about 3? And then 9/11 I had just turned 5.

I don’t really remember 9/11 either

I just… I want to know what those moments were like. What the transitions were like when everything changed forever.

I don’t really know what it’s like to live in a world pre 9/11 or pre-school shooting era so I don’t understand the gravity of what these things felt like to witness.

I wish I had been older so I could know. I just want fo hear from people who do remember. Just tell me what you remember and what your experiences are. TIA
