Would you use this on your 2 yr old if it says for 3+?

I was gifted this soap with melatonin in it

On the back of it, it says 3+, but my son is only 2. He is still waking 4+ times a night and I’m just desperate. Last night I had a horrific migraine and he would not let me sleep. 
I can’t see why it would need to be 3+? Is a 2 year old’s biology really that much different than a 3 year old’s? 🤔

I wouldn't use anything with melatonin in it. It can mess up the bodies natural ability to make it and cause a dependence. Unless you're using it under doctor supervision. I would try like lavender scented lotions or something before I would use this stuff

Absolutely NOT. there is a hugeee difference with that between 2 and 3. You shouldnt give them melatonin or use stuff with melatonin if they are under 2, and even 3/4 its not recomended. Its easy to OD a 2 or under on melatonin, hell even a 3 year old its easy to OD a 3 year old

Unless advised by a professional definitely not. My daughter is on melatonin for her autism and lack of shutting down in the evenings but I would never dream of giving her it without the confirmation of her paediatrician

If you want a soothing baby wash get one without melatonin. There’s tons labeled “bedtime”
