Should I be worried?

I’m on the nexplanon implant and my partner and I also do the pull out method ontop of that. I’ve had my period religiously every month for the last year but I’m 8 days late now. I’ve had the nexplanon in for 2 years and 8 months. Should I be worried?

I’m also on Nexplanon, and I had a late period once. I was so paranoid that I actually went to the clinic to get a pee pregnancy test. When I told them what birth control I was on, the nurse said she would be SHOCKED if I ended up being pregnant, and the test did come back negative. 😁 
In her words, it’s ‘damn near’ a hundred percent effective. My period was just irregular that month and I happened to be under a ton of stress, which probably played a role. Don’t freak out quite yet.
