Are bad headaches common during first trimester?

I’m getting terrible migraines to the point I feel it in my sleep 😭😭 I have to lay down they hurt so bad and I feel like I have to throw up. Is this normal?

it’s normal, my doctor told me they were hormonal headaches, they can prescribe medicine if they’re bad enough

Have you spoken to your midwife / doctor about them? They may want to run some tests. My friend is a midwife and says any migraine during pregnancy is worth a call to your doctor.

I used to get them all the time but I also suffered from migraines before pregnancy. I think for me I got them throughout all 3 trimesters with my twins born in May.
