Yes and I regretted it. The pain hadn’t been bad but the on-call doctor scared me into getting it as I was afraid if I got too tired I would have to have a C-section. it slowed my labor, it made me sick, and I still have pain in the back where it was administered. ￼

I have 3 baby’s never had an epidural with my first and second I had gas and air I would always be sick once afterwards but with my 3rd I had nothing since once I arrived at hospital i was told I was 8cm they told me they was going to ring labour and delivery but once she left the room a minute later I had to push, i pushed my baby’s head out and didn’t make it to labour and delivery.

It failed the first time so I had to get it a second time. I do have nerve damage on my left hip that has made a small area numb to the touch. Really only bothers me if I have an itch in that spot. Doesn't impede daily life or anything like that. No other issues have come from the epidural

My labor was no joke over 4 days long (due to her being a preemie they wanted her in there as long as she would stay) and I did it without any medication or epidural.

Yes, and then did for any kids after that. No regrets and no lasting issues. My back was always sore for about 1-2 months after birth. But it went away.

I had 29 hour long labor and 9 of those hours I had back labor which was more than enough for me to get the epidural

Yes and it failed four times so I was just a prisoner in bed with excruciating back labor. No after effects though but I'll never get one again
