ECV vs C-section

I’m 34+5 and at my appointment they felt baby and told me he’s still breeched (he was breeched at 31 weeks). I have a follow up in exactly 2 weeks where they will feel again and if he’s still breeched I have to schedule an ECV for the following week or a C-section for 38 weeks.

My OB told me that based on his size (measuring at 35+3) he probably won’t flip on his own in the next 2 weeks so I should compare the 2 options to see which one I’d prefer. She told me that the ECV may not even work and I could end up needing a C-section regardless since they don’t deliver breeched babies at my hospital vaginally.

Have any mamas had an ECV done and what was your experience with it? Same with a c-section, what was your experience?
