Closely spaced pregnancies and delivering early
Hey ladies! So I'm due December 6 with baby #3, I got pregnant again 8mo pp from baby #2. For those of you that got pregnant less than a year postpartum, did you deliver that baby early?
My first was a difficult induction at 40 weeks so my midwife thinks I would have gone to 41 weeks, and my second was born spontaneously at 40+5. I was feeling ok about it since my midwife said third or higher pregnancies tend to follow the gestation length of your second. But I was talking with my mom last night and apparently she's convinced I'll go two weeks early since that's what happened my Gramma (her mom) when she had my two uncles back to back. So now I'm super paranoid about trying to find childcare for my older two right around Thanksgiving!
I'm hoping y'all can ease my mind. And if not then I think I might shell out for a sibling doula to be on call for the kids, since my mom can't come out to stay until my due date (she lives six hours away) and we have no family or close friends nearby.
