Yes because you should be pumping as often as your baby is eating. If you dont, you are telling your body that you dont need that milk and it will naturally start to decline

According to exclusivepumping.com (check them out - amazing resource) and my past experience (exclusively pumped with my 3 year old), it's more about the total minutes pumping, not the number of times you pump. If you are pumping enough to provide for the full day without having to dip into your stash you're doing great. You may have to do a power pumping session here and there if your output drops for any reason (you get sick, growth spurts, you miss a session, etc.) but your supply should be fine. If exclusive pumpers had to pump every time baby feeds we'd never get anything done!
