Speech therapy ?

My LO is 21 months. He communicates very well and understands absolutely everything. He can point out anything I ask him to - people or body parts or animals etc. He has a ton of words and babbles a ton as well. But a majority of how he talks is not real clear words and others wouldn’t be able to understand him. Sometimes he will get things out pretty clearly but most of the time it isn’t anything anyone outside of our family would be able to understand. He is occasionally doing some 2-3 word combinations like “no more bug” or “mama hold you (me)” or “sister bonk” but again only we can understand him, a lot of the “words” he says sound the same but I can tell the difference because of what we’re doing or the way he says it and obviously just knowing him so well. He has a well check coming up in a month or two but I’m just curious if he will need speech therapy or if it’s just still normal that nothing is very clear
